Healing is a process that involves the whole person: mind, body, and soul. That’s why at Healing Hands Heal Hearts, we take an “all needs met” approach through onsite counseling and other services, including housing, food, education, mental health, spiritual growth, and more.We dream of building an all-inclusive center 2 hours outside of Los Angeles with the goal of taking families out of their normal environment so they can focus on complete healing and restoration. To facilitate healing on every level, our grounds will have a community focus along with providing empowering resources, including a general store, a restaurant chapel, and educational centers for all ages.Hard times don’t have to be the end. With our holistic, all-needs-met approach, they’re only the beginning.

Vision

We envision broken individuals and families completely restored in mind, body, and spirit.

Mission

Our mission is to bring healing to individuals and families by empowering and equipping them with resources and services they need to heal and be restored.

OUR FOUNDER

Angela Dean, Founder of Healing Hands Heal Hearts, spent most of her life in the San Fernando Valley. From a young age, Angela learned from the love, guidance, and example of her mother, an entrepreneur. The two worked together in fundraising and business operations and partnered to pursue a career in real estate. Angela eventually obtained her own real estate license and worked side by side with her mother at a major firm in Los Angeles. Then the call came: her beloved mother had died suddenly from a massive heart attack. Angela’s life–and the lives of her two daughters–would never be the same.

However, even in the trenches of severe depression and homelessness, God gave Angela hope. Since then, Angela has been passionate about bringing restoration to others, which she has modeled in her professional life. As a Director of Operations for LA Community Center, Angela was instrumental in the development of local shelters. She also worked for Jaguar Land Rover, where she ran its first Business Development Center, collaborating with major corporations across the country.

In response to the incredible work God did in her own life, Angela formed HHHH to serve the homeless, abused, and less fortunate. HHHH has partnered with organizations such asWalgreens, JWCH Institute/Wesley Health Centers, Brooks & Brooks Foundation, and more to support those in need, bringing healing through practical help and resources.

Through her journey with the Lord and her two daughters Dezaree and Deja, Angela has experienced both pain and joy–but she never gave up hope, and she wants to teach others to do the same.

Dezaree Bowman

“We’ve all got a past, whether a negative past or positive past, not one person is better than the other. Never let your past determine where you are going or who you will be.”

–Dezaree Bowman

Deja Dean-Bowman

“Love, forgiveness, hope, dreams, future. 5 things we find hard to feel, do or see. Trust me I know. Whether it be pursuing your dream career while people around you say you can’t do it or it be your past coming to haunt you. What I learned in my short yet long time being on this Earth is that you have to BELIEVE in you first. You can’t wait for others validation or confirmation. You are powerful. You are smart. Your are capable.”
