 Girls’ Mentoring Program

Healing Hands Heal Hearts (HHHH) aims to bring holistic healing to individuals and families by empowering them and equipping them with resources and services they need to heal and be restored.

HHHH offers a free school-based mentoring program for all girls in 3rd-5th grades. The program goal is to help build and restore each girl’s mind, body, and soul, and provide them with the tools necessary to become strong and successful women. A school-based approach is used, as children tend to see school as a safe place, away from the difficulties experienced at home.

Trained mentors facilitate sessions, once a week, in a small group setting. Group size is limited to 10 participants for every 2 mentors to ensure quality time and promote relationship building. Each session starts with a healthy snack and includes 15 minutes focused on movement to help restore the body, 30 minutes of group discussion to engage the mind, and 15 minutes of reflection and preparation for the soul. Sessions will include themes such as Let’s Get Moving, Fueling Our Bodies, I Love Me Because I Love Me and many other motivational ideas.
